When you receive Lumineers, you will need to schedule two visits with our dentists over about a two-week period. During your first appointment, we will:

• Take a mold of your teeth
• Determine the correct shade of white for your Lumineers

We will then send this mold to a dental lab, where your Lumineers will be fabricated. When you return for your second appointment, our dentists will carefully and painlessly bond your Lumineers to your teeth. Because of their ultra-thin design, Lumineers can be bonded directly to the surface of your teeth without any reduction of your original tooth structure, making the procedure significantly more comfortable for you. The bonding process usually takes about an hour.

Your Lumineers are designed to feel natural and comfortable from the moment they are bonded to your teeth. You should not experience any sensitivity following placement. Additionally, Lumineers are extremely durable, and have been known to last for more than 20 years, so you can expect to enjoy your new, beautiful smile for many years.
